Ingredients : Idli rice -2 cups, Rice flakes -1/4 cup, Thick sour buttermilk – enough to soak. , salt, oil.
Podi chutney: Red chillies, bengal gram dhal, Dhaniya, cumin seeds, pepper, curry leaves, tamarind, garlic, salt.

    Hi madam…when I was a kid, my mom used to follow in podhigai channel…i used to admire it after coming from school….now iam a mom of two kids….i have ur cooking books collection in my house now…pls give varieties of idli podi or dosa podi…luv from canada…

      @Mallika Badrinath veetu samayal / Mallika Badrinath Thank you mam….surely i will check…..in these years i used to read your recipe book and cook….but now its easy to watch your videos and cook….the books r in our bookrack…my daughter 6 yrs old used to show your photo in the book ( that photo aunty is cooking)…..one good quality in your cooking is, you use less oil in your cooking( my amma used to say, you are using oil like we use in our house)….miss your shows like Theneer neram in podhigai…evening 4.30pm….me and my amma will chat…good olden days….ofcourse in canada no podhigai broadcast….
