This is my 6th and final trip to Velliangiri Mountains, Coimbatore in 2013. I got so many experiences in this trip. Though i had different experience each time, this one was more adventurous. In this video i have shown only the good and peaceful side. In my part 2 video i will tell the adventure episodes we met while climbing down the hills.
It's been nearly 6 years and i hope to visit this heavenly place soon again!

You have done a wonderful job but please take the background music out. Moreover this is party music and it totally abuses the sanctity of Velliangiri mountains. Only the Indian Classical music can add to it as it exudes spirituality in every sense.

Sure bro. Even myself. Because of Corona lock down this march and April has been spoiled which is the season time to climb Velliyangiri mountains. With police permission you will be allowed to climb during unseason. But i advice to avoid it for better sake (going alone) as once (my last trip before 6 or 7 years) had most horror memories hearing animals sound at night!
I dont know how much safety it is now for climbing in unseason in a lonely way..

During season time, you don’t need permissions bro. But during unseason time mostly they restrict due to the stories of wild dogs attack. Even i myself was a near victim once. It happened to me exactly at this video (entry restricted by that time itself. But we were confident that nothing comes our way as i have visited 5 times in the past) while returning home at night. We all 3 suffered much in mid night. Even the monkeys seemed to be dangerous us at 1 hill.
And there is no timing at all to visit the temple. I myself always choose to go (in the past) at the time where nobody or less peoples evolves around. I had started off at night 10 pm, morning 6 am and even by 3pm. So timing is really our choice here, bro!
If you like to travel along with the flow (people’s), there is high safety and you will get all guidance through them. But if u r a thrill lover, try to go with your friends during off season. For police permissions you my contact: 94425-56442 – This is a police number i got in 2013. Not sure that number still works. But i still believe u may get any reference help through that number as it belongs to policemen. Good luck, brother!
